Could someone explain how Unicode Sinhala characters can be used in my computer.
Can I use them, for instance, with my MS Word 2007?

There are lots of discussion we had about this subject. If you are using Vista, of cause you can use Sinhala Unicode straight away. If you are using Windows XP, then you will have to install a free font pack. Read viewtopic.php?f=91&t=1649
